'Iron Sky'

Topshop White Top (not on website yet)
Primark Jelly Shoes (£4)
Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch (review here)

Before I start, I just want to say yes, I know I'm wearing jelly shoes, but I have no intention in wearing them out, just when I'm on holiday, but I thought they finished off this outfit particularly well (and they remind me of my older sisters pink glitter Barbie jelly heels which I was so jealous of as a child - ha now I have my own pair! Over 10 years too late though ... and yes, I had a haircut - a serious hair cut. I was getting sick of having my hair so limp and flat and heavy, so I decided to go for it and have it the shortest its ever been. I definitely have not got used to it yet, but it's already so much easier to handle and part of me does want my long hair back, but we always want what we haven't got I suppose!

So tomorrow I'm starting my 3 week work placement at Topshop and I have got to think of outfits that are pretty much all Topshop, hence the nearly all Topshop outfit. I got this top on friday from the Folklore trend (I've been swotting up :) ) and I just think the relaxed fit will make it comfortable to work in and I love the pattern on the front. Now, the treggings. I have a love hate relationship with these. I love them when I see people wearing them, but I just think they do attract attention - and I'm not sure in a good way. Let me know in the comments anyway - and I would love to know what you think about my hair and the jelly shoes of course :)

I'm not sure how much blogging I will be doing around the next few weeks as I am blogging my time at Topshop as part of my course, but unfortunately this is privated (hopefully I will make it public after the marking so you can read it!)

Thanks for Reading and follow me on Instagram and Twitter: sarah_bowater for more updates and pictures on my next few weeks working at Topshop!
Hope you like the outfit!

'Pick A Part That's New'

Topshop Coat (similar jacket here)
Topshop Necklace
Michael Kors MK-5128 Rose Gold Plated Chronograph Watch (review here)

I picked up this lovely White Turtleneck from Forever 21 yesterday, and for £11.50 it is such good quality (I brought a size large which is perfect - a small would have been way too tight!). I wore it with my old season Topshop jacket which I think works well, and they have actually used this material in a new style jacket this season (link above). Naturally I wore my grey Joni Jeans which I have lived in for the past two weeks - I'm probably going to end up getting them in all the colours - they now have them in a cropped leg style now (see here).

My uni Visual Merchandising project is coming to an end, so if you want to see it, check out my Instagram and Twitter for pictures (username is sarah_bowater) or links on the sidebar.

'Settle Down' | BeautyUK Posh Palette in No.2 Masquerade

I'm not normally one to go out and buy a beauty product without knowing anything about it - especially one on the cheaper side. I usually spend many weeks reading blog reviews, debating whether it's worth it, whether I will use it, whether it will cause me any problems e.g. sore eyes, breakouts etc. etc. But I saw this in Superdrug and fell in love with the colours. I hadn't ever brought any Beauty UK Products and hadn't heard about them on blogs, (I may be missing something here though) but for £5.99 I thought I would just give it a try.
The colours are beautiful and pigmented; a really good basics palette for everyday. My favourite, as pictured, is this lovely 'berryish' colour which is on the bottom row, second from the left. They are really easy to blend and I think they look just like something MAC has to offer. The neutral shades will be perfect for everyday use, but there are enough colours to really stand out when you want to make an impact.
